GHK-Cu is a complex of the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine (GHK) and a copper(II) ion. GHK was first identified in human plasma in the 1970s, and its strong affinity for copper has made the complex a long-standing subject of laboratory research.
Published in-vitro and preclinical studies have explored GHK-Cu in models of skin remodelling, collagen and extracellular-matrix synthesis, and gene-expression research. Monark GHK-Cu comes in 50mg and 100mg vials of lyophilized powder, with every batch tested by an independent laboratory.
Every batch is tested for purity by an independent laboratory, and the results are recorded on a certificate of analysis (COA).

The molecule
GHK is one of the smallest naturally occurring peptides: just three amino acids, glycine, histidine and lysine. It binds copper(II) ions tightly, and it's this copper complex, GHK-Cu, that most of the research focuses on.
Because copper is involved in many enzyme systems, GHK-Cu has become a common reference compound in studies of skin structure, connective tissue and cellular repair.
In the literature
Studied in in-vitro and preclinical models of skin structure and remodelling.
Explored in research on collagen and extracellular-matrix synthesis in cell cultures.
Investigated in laboratory research on how GHK-Cu relates to gene-expression patterns.
Summaries of published preclinical research, for reference only. Not a claim of any effect in humans or animals.

Both vials contain the same ≥99% pure GHK-Cu. The 100mg vial holds twice as much and works out cheaper per milligram ($0.70/mg versus $0.80/mg for the 50mg vial).
The copper(II) ion gives GHK-Cu its characteristic blue to violet colour. It's normal and expected.
